Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
1. Your account
You need an account to use mrecall. During our beta period, access is invite-based and limited to approved email addresses. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use mrecall only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying source code of the Service beyond what's permitted by applicable law
- Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm another person
3. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you enter into mrecall — your inventory, contacts, notes, meeting records, and any files you upload ("Your Content"). We don't claim any ownership over it. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating mrecall for you (for example, syncing it across your devices, or generating an AI summary when you request one).
You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content, and for having any necessary rights or permissions to store personal information about other people (such as contacts) within mrecall.
4. Sharing features
mrecall lets you voluntarily share specific notes, conversations, or lists with other mrecall users, and invite people to shared homes or shopping lists. You're solely responsible for what you choose to share and with whom. Once shared, the recipient can see the specific content shared with them in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party integrations
mrecall integrates with services like Google (Sign-In, Calendar, Drive) and Anthropic's Claude (for AI summaries). These integrations are optional and activate only with your explicit permission (for example, granting Calendar access during sign-in). Your use of these integrations is also subject to the relevant third party's own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services outside our control.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep mrecall available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using mrecall and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required to comply with the law. Where possible, we'll provide notice before doing so.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
mrecall is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated summaries are provided as a convenience and may contain inaccuracies — you should verify anything important before relying on it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mrecall and its founders/operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you directly. Continued use of mrecall after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
